Learn the building blocks of creating delicious homemade sauces that will wow your family and friends! During this class you'll learn about the traditional Mother Sauces, Daughter Sauces, and some of the new Mother Sauces as well. Although this class is a little heavier on lecture learning than our other classes, you will certainly get to try your hand at several of the sauces discussed, and you will leave with an excellent base of knowledge and a handful of nutritious recipes to experiment with your new saucy skills! On the Menu: BéchamelMornayEspagnolePestoWe will use the mornay to make creamy macaroni and cheese dish and there will also be some mix-ins and a salad available for lunch. Please let us know when you register if you have any diet restrictions, especially any allergies to nuts and/or milk products so that accommodations can be arranged.
