Revive The Roots is hosting weekly volunteer days! We are a growing non-profit organization advocating for open space and caring for a piece of land built off of community support.
We welcome folks to work along side our annual and perrenial production crew! Tasks may vary depending on the weather and volunteers ability. Always feel free to reach out for information regarding accessibility and volunteer tasks.
For the winter, we are looking at hosting volunteer days every first Sunday of the month. We tend to hang around after, have a fire and cook some food over it🔥🔥🔥
Find out more about us at our website!
During our volunteer days you could be helping out with our annual production, trail maintenance, habitat restoration, or community building projects. All ages are welcome. There is no tolerance or space for homophobia, racism, transphobia, ableism, and any other forms of oppression. We welcome folks who are committed to creating a community where folks can flourish :)
All volunteers will be oriented to the Revive The Roots home, where you can make tea, use the bathroom and escape from the elements while your volunteering.
Annie will be your point contact person, feel free to email her at [email protected]
We will be meeting at 374 Farnum Pike, Smithfield RI on the ancestral lands of the Narragansett, Nipmuc, Pokanoket, and Wampanoag people.
Look for us near the Community Gardens. Just wonder that small area and you’ll be sure to see us!
