Greetings, Yes, I know of the Suncoast Blues Society. In Tampa. I do not feel they fit our needs. I will say no more about it. And they are in Tampa. We need our own Blues Society on this side of the Bay. This society WILL be active. We WILL be hosting regular meetings (always an excuse for a jam!) We WILL be promoting our local blues artists. We WILL create a higher profile for the Blues in St. Pete and Clearwater. There WILL be NO membership dues. I will underwrite everything myself and find sponsors for the rest. Please respond if you would like to be a member. Most importantly, we need a board and I am currently seeking people to fill that role.
