Nice landlord seeks LICENSED refrigeration tech to fix Whirlpool fridge still under manufacturer's warranty. The fridge has already been looked at by Home Appliance. Even they cannot fix it. Whirlpool also sent me a local tech from a place called AAA, but he stated he does not fix 6000 series fridges, which apparently this one is. I complained to Whirlpool, and they issued me a coupon of sorts for a $300 reimbursement on labor, with the stipulation that I need to find my own repair person. They are also willing to supply any parts you need to fix it. Home Appliance said it might be $1,000 to truly fix this fridge. I'm not willing to dump that kind of money into it, but I'm willing to go up to the $300 plus free parts if necessary. Please do not contact me unless you are a LICENSED refrigeration tech.
