Immediate Need for Maintenance Technician that can clean and maintain 30,000 square feet of classrooms, spa and general areas. Maintenance Technician / Janitor / Cleaner will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility as well as maintenance, minor repairs, snow removal and yard work (responsible for everything inside and outside of the facility). SALARIED EMPLOYEE WITH FULL BENEFITS. DAY AND EVENING HOURS AS WELL AS WEEKEND AVAILABILITY. ON CALL HOURS AS WELL. Duties for Maintenance Technician / Janitor / Cleaner · Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members. · Cleaning and maintaining entire facility, inside and out · Changing of light bulbs · Painting, repairs · Snow removal / Lawn Care Troubleshooting HVAC issues Installing smoke & CO2 detectors Fixing / reattaching towel racks Removing and/or treating for insects and pests Able to assist with basic pest control Change out switches and do basic electrical work Able to install and troubleshoot appliance issues with washer & dryer, stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave Unclogging drains Fixing leaking faucets Fixing leaking toilets (changing out and replacing wax ring) Replacing toilet guts More extensive experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or other trades is a major benefit · Respond to maintenance calls during the shift as well as being on call · Knowledge of all promotions and events. · Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures. Essential Cleaning Functions: Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.
