Located at the East end of 9th Street, Art Emergency is a warehouse dedicated to providing affordable work & exhibition spaces to a variety of Artist and Creatives. Studios vary in size and price, beginning at $225/mo for approximately 100sq ft. Tenants have 24 hour building access. The warehouse has large common areas for working on projects as well as a large garage door. There is a ventilated spray booth for painting; a conference table for meetings, & a baby grand piano. The biggest perks of renting at Art Emergency are being a part of the tenant community. Tenants have the option to participate in group shows and markets, both at the warehouse space and in other location around town. Tenants and management team up to put on Final Fridays shows and seasonal markets. Art Emergency is home to the Lawrence Art Guild, as well as weekly Fiber meet-ups.
