A growing property rental company looking to hire experienced Construction Workers to help maintain the condition in our rental houses in Lansing Michigan. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Turn the Single Family Home job site each day for the current project by preparing materials, tools, and equipment * Maintain a brisk & productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints. * Provide assistance to other team members on various tasks if your duties are completed ahead of schedule QUALIFICATIONS: * Familiarity with hand tools such as power drills, saws, and measuring * Carpentry work, demonstrating knowledge & abilities to measure, cut, install trim work, cabinetry, countertops, vanities, hanging exterior & interior doors. * Construction work, demonstrating knowledge and abilities to repair & install roofing, install vinyl siding, windows * Desire to work long shifts, usually up to 8 hours, during the day and into the evening * Good oral comprehension skills to follow verbal instructions & respond to questions about job tasks. Proper language inside & outside of the Office, houses, tenants, and co workers. * General knowledge of construction operations and procedures. * Prove to be trustworthy, working individually for Work Orders, entering and servicing homes with families in them, who rent from us. * Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors and a supervisor while renovations for acquisitions & turns come around. This company is flexible with schedule.
