Hey Craigslist! Our band is currently looking for a dedicated Lead Singer/Guitarist in the Atlanta area! We are specific as far as the music goes. The genre that we play has many names: Dream-pop, Indie-pych, Shoegaze, Bedroom pop, Surf rock, Indie-pop, Psychedelic Rock, etc. We are all are dedicated to playing this category of music and we will be playing this genre! We've all established it'll be most resourceful and straight-forward to simply introduce music that is already arranged and composed, rather than try to come up with music on the fly at rehearsal initially. 7 of them are all instrumental(drums/bass/guitar/vocals) the other 7 have electronic elements. We will be playing some of the demos we made. We have the rhythm guitar tabs written for all our songs along with tutorial videos of me demonstrating how to play guitar and sing to each of our songs so you can get a solid start on learning the songs in our set. I'm not the most experienced producer- beginner level. Hoping to get my degree from youtube university soon, 😁 but can put together solid demos/rough drafts, so they're not the best quality. *band name pending We currently rehearse at a music studio in Doraville, however our drummer is moving to a house with a practice space in mid February where we will host rehearsals. He has a Roland E-kit and an acoustic set as well. Looking for people in the Atlanta/North ITP area. All of us are in our 20s/early 30s and we are looking to play with members in our age range. We are looking to rehearse on Sunday nights and pick another weekday night to rehearse so 2 practices a week. Also a solid commute is important to us so you must live close within 30min of Atlanta. However, not only are we looking for members, we're looking for solid friends to add to our group! Every band I've ever been in we've always been really close, had solid connections and still hang out with a lot of previous members. We go out to bars, shows, festivals, etc. We all have energetic, funny, hardworking personalities and are fun guys to be around with talent and ambition for writing music. We all have very like-minded ideas, a deep passion for indie/dreampop music and want to start playing shows as soon as possible. We are looking for members that also shares those same passions.
