Boating Skills and Seamanship: The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boating Skills and Seamanship (BS&S) course is a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators comprehensive boater certificate course designed for both the experienced and novice boater. The course consists of eight core required two hour lessons, plus five elective lessons providing up-to-date knowledge for handling boats under all conditions. Please Note: The first night's class begins at 6:30PM. All other Classes will begin at 7PM. These classes are in person instructor led classes held at 2 Fort Rd, South Portland, ME 04106. Seats are limited. Students who successfully complete this course and proctored exam receive a NASBLA Boating Safety Certificate. USCG Auxiliary boating education is taught by Certified Instructors with years of on the water experience. Register now at AuxBoatEd.org
