Job Description:
The Trade Show Assistant will assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of a one-time trade show event.
Service dates of the event are Feb 23rd - Feb 25th
Duties include but are not limited to:
- assisting with booth setup and display as needed and providing general assistance to event staff and vendors
- The Trade Show Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized event space, and may be required to lift and move equipment and materials.
- The Trade Show Assistant will report directly to the event manager and will be required to work onsite during assigned hours at the trade show.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed (not to exceed 15-20 lbs)
- Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college students majoring in PR, Communications, or Marketing would find this experience to be a rewarding gig). Must be 18 or older.
This is a temporary, part-time position with compensation based on experience.
