Country singer-songwriter looking to join or form a country band

I have not had much luck on here in the past with this effort, but I want to try again, because I need to find a country outfit to play a mix of country classics and original music. I don’t know anything about modern country and I’m very proud of that. My preference is early Willie Nelson, Randy Travis, Red Sovine, Ray Price. When it comes to country music, I just feel like I have a natural ability I can sing anything you throw at me. And I think the songs I write are right up there with my singing ability. I guess I’m confident, just ask me. But don’t you have to be to have an attitude in a country band?
