We are currently located in Odessa but are building a new facility off Curley Road in Wesley Chapel, FL. We are seeking to increase our work force to enable us to continue our growth by providing exceptional product through additional exceptional employees. We are currently looking to train a few good people in the art of turf and shrub fertilizer and pest control application with the goal of being promoted to a Senior Technician. Junior Pest and Fertilization Technician Essential Duties: To ride and learn from a Senior Technician and assist that technician over time in the following areas: Application of liquid or granular fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides to turf and shrubs utilizing appropriate equipment including push spreaders, hydro-spreaders, hand spreaders, backpack sprayers, and tank sprayers. Identify and diagnosis residential turf and landscape concerns; recommend and/or treat as necessary. Manage daily service routes using an application on a tablet. Communicate with customers in a professional manner. Basic maintenance of truck and equipment. Requirements: Work week Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed. Valid – Clean Florida Driver’s License. Minimum 1 year of outdoor employment Ability to obtain a BMP (Best Management Practices) ID Card Basic Computer skills. Strong communication skills. Independent worker with strong desire to succeed by providing exceptional service to our customers. Ability to process, understand, and carry out written and oral instructions. Tolerant to outside work in extreme weather conditions including heat and humidity. Ability to perform physical tasks safely including heavy lifting. Dependable. Benefits: Immediate Holiday Pay. Paid Time Off (PTO) after 90 days. Company provided uniforms. Starting Pay dependent upon experience: $16.00 - $18.00
