Press release from the Village of Libertyville: January 8, 2021 The Village is considering implementing a stormwater utility fee to finance the capital improvements identified in the Master Stormwater Management Plan. Residents and business can learn more about the proposed fee here. This web page includes fee background, a list of frequently asked questions, and a tool that allows customers to lookup their property's estimated stormwater utility fee amount. If adopted by the Village Board, the fee would go into effect on September 1, 2021. The Village will be hosting two virtual town hall sessions in the coming weeks to review the proposed fee and stormwater capital improvement plan. The dates of the virtual town halls are: -Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 7:00pm -Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7:00pm Participants are welcome to ask questions or provide feedback during the virtual town hall sessions, but can also submit comments or ask questions in advance by emailing [email protected].
