Freeport Oyster Bar will be hosting the opening bash for The Maine Oyster Festival. At Friday evenings event you will have the opportunity to eat (what we believe to be) the best oysters in the world, talk to Sea Farmers, relax and have a great time! Live music, beer, wine, cocktails, and oysters! Tickets will benefit Sea Meadows Marine Foundation. Sea Meadows is dedicated to protecting the working waterfront while innovating, improving infrastructure, and regenerating our oceans. Out of 3,400 miles of Maine's rugged coast only 21 miles are dedicated to working waterfront. By donating to Sea Meadows Marine Foundation you can help us grow the working waterfront and protect what we all love so much about Maine.
