Join us for a fun filled dog day! Bring your dog(s) to have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny and shop from dog vendors and raffle baskets. This event is being hosted to raise funds for Dozer the Bulldog (more info on Dozer below). Kim from Kimberly Ann Empowerment Photography has generously donated her time to take the photos for us and will be providing all paid participants a link to access their photos within several days after the event. We scheduled the event with enough time to allow you to get your photos back in time to make cards, share on social media, or even print and frame before Easter. We appreciate your participation and support! Anyone is more than welcome to come and shop the vendors and see some furry friends. Dozer is a young male Bulldog who was living in a neglectful situation in Pembroke, MA. After reaching his foster mom's home he had his nails done (some had grown into his paws - ouch!) and several baths. It was immediately apparent that he had an issue with his ears - Bulldogs require frequent ear cleaning to prevent infection. After veterinary review it was determined that Dozer had long term ear infections resulting in him being hard of hearing. He required ear surgeries on both ears to alleviate pressure in his ear canals though, unfortunately, he will remain deaf due to the permanent damage done. He also needed to be neutered and treated with antibiotics for the infections leading to quite a hefty veterinary bill. We have held several fundraisers for him and hope that this event will get us to the point we can pay his bill in full. Once he has fully recovered and been issued a clean bill of health he will be re homed to a loving family in the area that meets his care requirements.
