Starting 1/1/23 - Heat Pump Installers must be CERTIFIED in Cold Climate Sizing and Design Training to offer MassSave Rebates. In this class, students will obtain: A foundational understanding of variable capacity air source heat pumpsLoad calculations and why they matterSizing and selection methodsSystem design options and considerationsControl strategies and thermostat optionsDesign best practices and recommendations This class currently satisfies the requirements of the State of Massachusetts for the Mass Save rebates for 2023. The target audience for this class would be anyone involved with the sizing, selling, service or installation of LG heat pump HVAC systems focusing on meeting the requirements for Mass Save 2023.
