Matters of the Heart- Fundraising Event for Rescued Dogs with Heartworm

All dogs that come into our care at Glory Bound Rescue Ranch are tested for heartworm disease. If they test positive, we immediately take action with our veterinary partners and being a slow-kill treatment! We are firm believers that a pet should not have to suffer or lose its life to this preventable disease. The cost of treatment for each dog can be $300.-$500. which is one of the reasons pet owners give up their pets to high-kill shelters because they cannot afford the monthly preventatives and/or treatments. This fundraiser will allow us to continue our commitment to the dogs in our care who come to us with heartworm and give them the second chance they deserve. Our goal is to raise enough funds to pay for the 6 heartworm-positive dogs in our care. This means we need to raise $1,500.-$2,000. to achieve our goal!
