Our four hour yoga retreat, for women ages 18 and up, is the perfect way to celebrate friendship, connection, and self-love! Join us for the afternoon and enjoy the following activities: *An opening 45 minute yoga session with trauma informed yoga instructor, Cherity Cook, and Timberview's therapy llama, Simone. *Coffee/ hot chocolate bar and snacks *Photo opportunities with Simone in our kissing booth! *Self- love art project with guided writing activity led by Carol Kaase. (This art project is appropriate for all skill levels). *Barn Tour/meet-and-greet with the rest of our llamas and alpacas * A closing 45 minute yoga session with Cherity Cook What to know: Our activities, with the exception of our barn tour, will take place in our heated event space. Our retreat leaders are dedicated to making everyone feel welcomed and engaged so whether you are attending solo or are bringing a friend, you will fit right in here! 🦙**Simone will be present for the first yoga session and kissing booth but will be given the choice to join her sisters in the pasture during the barn tour** 🦙 What to bring: Yoga mat, warm clothes, and shoes you can get dirty. There is a place to change in the event space, so feel free to pack an extra outfit. If you don’t have a yoga mat, let us know in advance, and we will accommodate you **Illinois winters are always unpredictable! The barn tour + animal introduction portion of the retreat will be offered to everyone but is completely optional! If you plan to go to the barn, please bring warm clothes and shoes that can get dirty.** Cherity Cook is a trauma informed yoga instructor. She teaches with an eye towards emotional healing and creating space for all types of bodies in practice. She believes strongly in holding space for intuitive learning and growth both within and outside of the studio. Cherity completed 200 hour teacher training with Tamo Mitcchell at Om on the River in May 2022 and received her Trauma-Informed Certification in July 2022 with Soulside Healing Arts. Cherity lives on a farm in Central, Illinois. She is mama to horses, llamas, alpacas, chickens, pigs, dogs and cats. She and her husband own Timberview Ranch and Retreat and have enjoyed living the farm life throughout the past year. Carol is human mama to llamas, alpacas, cats and a dog. She strongly believes in empowering women and creating a space that allows people to truly love and enjoy themselves.
