cuddly orange boy looking for home, no fee

For the past several weeks we have been looking after a stray cat in downtown west palm beach. He was beaten up from some fights but is now in perfect health. He seems young, around 1 year old. Beautiful orange color with dark orange lines, green eyes, pink nose. He has been in our house for a while and very accustomed now to indoor living - picks the best spots on the couch or bed for his long naps. We have never seen him scratch any furniture or cause any other damage. He does need his outdoor space though. A few times a day he will meow by the door to be let out. And meow again to be let in. He likes to do his business outside though I’m sure he can be litter box trained. No “accidents” in his time with us. He is very smart. Comes when called, lies down wherever you pat, is vocal about his needs (eg meows by the kitchen when it’s time to eat). He has never bitten or scratched anyone in our household, when playing he does not take out his claws. He likes to be outdoors and does not always clean himself perfectly after so we wash him occasionally, he’s not a huge fan but takes it well. But above all he is the cuddliest cat I’ve met. He will always be near you, demanding love and scratches and purring loudly. A very sweet boy looking for a long term home. We are leaving Florida on Friday and can’t take him with us, he would need to be picked up until then. We would give you the remaining food, toys, brush, shampoo, nail clipper etc
