Persian Cultural Center Presents: Voices Unveiledآواز خروشان Farsi Vocals: Maliheh Moradi Arabic and Farsi Vocals: Mina Deris Compose by: Ehsan Matoori Along with other musicians "Women, Life, Freedom" is used to express the desire for, and commitment to, equality, safety, and choice for women in Iran. One of the missions of the woman who wants to sing project which is inspired by Woman, Life, Freedom is to emphasize the atrocities and injustices against various underrepresented groups. The primary theme of this project composition is a piece called Ey Zan ‘O’ Lady '' is bifold -- to celebrate the beauty of women on the one hand and to highlight the negative plight of women in different cultures. That women don't feel safe comes from the way we see girls, and things we have against them. We are trying to show the beauty of woman voice comparing a highlights the women’s suffering, their perseverance and their struggle for freedom in the face of social and cultural aggression against them. Also through this performance we want to show our support to this Modern Revolution which is called “Woman, Life, Freedom”!
