We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the condition and functionality of our buildings. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting, make readies, plumbing, electrical, landscaping etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work well within an established team, work autonomously at times, and responsibly. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): -Survey buildings & clean property daily -Perform maintenance of property daily as direction is given by your Community Director & Maintenance Director -Complete make readies on vacant units in a thorough & timely manner -Assist in the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure functionality -Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing, misc. repairs as needed) -Remain mindful of budgets and ensure it is followed Necessary Skills: -Proven experience as maintenance technician -Basic understanding of maintenance terms -Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods -Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and plumbing -Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills -Good physical condition and strength -Willingness to work on-call & overtime as necessary required - Experience in apartment maintenance or relevant field will be a plus
