A+ Staffing is seeking reliable, professional, high-energy sports fans to work as concessions staff for The Dallas Tennis Open. The Dallas Open is one of only 10 United States tournaments on the ATP Tour and the only indoor championship in the United States. The Dallas Open draws thousands of attendees from all over the globe. We are seeking staff who are friendly, motivated, Staff hired for this event will represent A+ Staffing, SMU and Dallas, Texas to a worldwide audience – please apply if you are friendly, diligent, motivated, and excited to be a part of a world class sporting event! DATES: Saturday, February 4th – Sunday, February 12th SHIFT TIMES: 9:00am-4:00pm or 3:00pm-10:00pm daily LOCATION: Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex – SMU Campus AVAILABLE POSITIONS/JOB DESCRIPTION: Cashiers – cashiers will be assigned to a concession stand or kiosk selling beer, wine, frozen mixed drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, pre-made boxed food (sandwiches, salads), and snacks such as candy or popcorn. Cashiers may run cash registers or fill orders, but must be flexible to complete any concession task that is assigned. Runners – runners will keep all stands and kiosks stocked with product (food and beverages), ice, and other necessities. Runners may be assigned to deliver food and beverages to spectators in the stands. Must be comfortable with physically demanding, fast paced work. Runners will be required to lift and carry 50+ lbs up and down stairs and to push/pull carts weighing 100+ lbs throughout the shift. REQUIREMENTS: • Must be 18+ years of age and able to fulfill I-9 requirements. • Must pass a criminal background check. • Must be available to work a minimum of four shifts throughout the tournament. • Must be punctual, dependable and have excellent customer service skills. • Must be able to work on your feet for 8-10 hours per day. • Must have current TABC Certification (required for ALL positions – no exceptions). PAY: $17.50 per hour + potential tips. We pay weekly via direct deposit.
