Currently seeking a transportation professional with a caring and compassionate attitude for our pet aftercare team at Paws, Whiskers & Wags in Charlotte, NC. Join our growing company with five locations, serving families in Georgia and the Carolinas. We are looking for a qualified individual who is dedicated to treating all families and their pets with respect and dignity. $500 signing bonus available after successfully completing 90-day training period! Responsibilities Safe operation of fleet vehicles and professional customer service skills to provide to veterinary clinics and hospitals Bringing deceased pets into our care with dignity and respect Transport from veterinary hospitals, crematory locations, and private residences Support the cremation process as needed Required Skills: Punctuality Ability to lift 60+ pounds safely Detail-oriented in paperwork and following processes accurately and in a timely manner Current, clear and valid driver’s license Ability to work as a team to exceed client expectations Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with families, local veterinary staff, and other pet-related businesses Able to work safely and wear required personal protection equipment Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines Preferred Skills: Experience in a pet-related field or after-care industry Experience in the transportation industry Animal lovers encouraged to apply Benefits You are joining a company that embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion.
