A major subcontractor in Chicago has an opening for a driver/delivery person. Job Description: • Make deliveries to and pickups from job sites • Load truck for deliveries • Unload truck at delivery • Clean and maintain warehouse • General upkeep of building and grounds • Maintain and clean vehicles • Other duties, as assigned Job Qualifications: • Valid Driver’s License • Safe driving record • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to pass drug test • Ability to pass background check • Interest in painter’s apprenticeship Requirements: • Ability to lift 75 pounds • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
