Rehearsals in Astoria, 1 night a week... Male singer who can play bass - okay if you're rusty & outta practice as long as you still have a bass, & can play & sing leads & harmonize with a female lead singer. Tenor ranges preferred. Rebuilding this band with a new line out of the ashes of the last COVIDS strike. We are weak in the area of vocals, so we'd like to consolidate & keep the bass down to 5, rather than 6 if we can. A female will do in a pinch, but whether male or female vox they must be able to play bass to a competent degree, even if they never played in a real (gigging) band before. I need reliable, responsible dedicated musical people who will stick with THIS band (Murder Incorporated) LONG TERM. Those who have other things going that are going to impede the progression of the band are of no use to us. Material is 60s/70s/80s CLASSIC ROCK mostly... some 90s + as well, The rock vein can include Southern rock, early R&B. NO dance, disco, or (esp) NO 80s New Wave. I have an initial "audition" list for our first meet... If you can meet our conditions, & want to be in a band, we'd be glad to hear from you. We are low pressure & drama free, BUT we are serious about the band, so we need serious, responsible, dedicated players who we can count on week to week.
