Why weren’t the people of Iowa allowed to vote on the school choice bill? Because Reynolds knew it wouldn’t pass, that’s why. She had Iowa join in a law suit against Biden, challenging his attempt to help college students pay off their debt. How is her high school plan any different, paying tuition for kids to go to private schools? There will probably be a lot of students going to private schools who can’t make it in the public schools, probably because they either don’t try, or are trouble makers. This will make private schools just like public schools, unless private schools can flat out refuse to accept just anybody. This is going to take money away from public schools, which most kids will have to attend, just because of logistical reasons. I hope someone files a law suit against this law, and the law gets revoked. If you feel the same way, remember this when the next election rolls around. Get Reynolds out of office. She must have some grandkids hitting high school age soon, and wants us to pay for their private school education, so she doesn’t have to. That’s the only reason I can think of for such an idiotic bill. As for me, will probably be moving out of this state now.
