Job Description We are seeking a Plumber to join our team. The selected individual will install and repair water supply lines and drainage systems. Responsibilities Under direction of licensed or master plumbers, plumber must be able to perform the following task: • Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems • Install and repair pipes, fittings valves, fixtures and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters and water softeners. • Locate and repair issues with water supply lines. • Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc. • Install and maintain gas and liquid troubleshooting hot water tanks, boilers heating systems (radiators etc.) Requirements • Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field. (3 years – Required). • Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. • Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems. • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.). • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Friendly with a great deal of patience. • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces. • OSHA 40-Hour DOL Card. • NYS Driver License (Required) • Language English and Spanish. • Work authorization in United States. Schedule • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Weekend and overtime if necessary. Benefits: • Paid time off (vacations, sick and personal days, and federal holiday).
