Description

**MUST STAY TOGETHER, BONDED, IN PERRY, IOWA** Due to unforeseen living/health circumstances, I am terribly heartbroken to have to rehome our two dogs, Wybie and Roxy. Wybie is a black and white 1 year old male mini springerdoodle at 26 lbs. Roxy is a brown and white 3 year old female beagle/corgi/chihuahua/terrier mix at 20 lbs. Both are spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. Will come with every supply imaginable, including paperwork and prescription medicines. Roxy has a luxating patella (hops to keep pressure off that leg sometimes) and rheumatoid arthritis, so she takes Rimadyl/Carprofen every 12-24 hrs for pain. Wybie is currently having his ear infections treated with Posatex. He also moves a bit funny sometimes, vet said he might have hip dysplasia but, if he does (he might just be anxious/awkward), it isn't causing him much pain or trouble yet. Both dogs can eliminate outside but are used to using disposable pee pads in colder weather. Rehoming fee for both to help ensure adopters can afford their ongoing care. Wybie is a sweet boy who might have been abused before he came to us, since he's very scared at first and may try to run away from what he doesn't know or isn't sure about, but he warmed up within a week or so and once he gets to know you, he loves to cuddle and play and sleep in bed with you! He gets brief zoomies occasionally since he's still pretty young, but his overall activity level is more moderate to chill. He's mostly quiet except when he hears you come back or has been left alone for (what he thinks is) too long. Roxy is very loving toward her people, but she's more of the lie-down-beside-you type, and chills on the bed or couch mostly, great for lower/quieter activity level homes! She has a fascination with cats and is good with inside cats, though she barks at and may try to chase animals outside. She gets very into playing with squeaky or crinkle toys, too! Neither dog has bitten, to our knowledge, though like a puppy, if not given something to chew on Wybie sometimes tries to find other things like socks/shoes or pee pads to chew on (he sometimes delays the chewing/eating until you're there with him, though). Crossposted and located in Perry, IA, but would meet nearby for a good home! Would greatly prefer regular updates so I can know they're doing alright (Roxy in particular may be distressed by the change, as we've had her longer and she seems more anxious about those things, though they're both anxious alone and need each other's company). Message if they sound like a good fit for you and your home! If you can provide vet or personal references, that would also be appreciated!
