ROCK ROCK Til YOU DROP! Any pro-grade lead guitarists out there? Cheers! I just moved to Orchard Park in September and immediately set up a spacious music studio with high end gear/sound. After 8 years of success with ONE HEADLIGHT, Atlanta's Tribute Band for the Original MTV Generation, I decided to move to NY and reboot the band up here. We played massive music festivals, corporate gigs, private events, bars, clubs, etc...in Metro Atlanta and were flown to Scottsdale and Miami as well. What started out as a way for us to moonlight and package the band for smaller venues, we created a LITE version of ONE HEADLIGHT, with two live electric guitars and live vocals with pro-mixed backing tracks. Eventually incorporated the tracks into our full band and we took off fast...looking to start with the LITE version in WNY. YOU: Pro lead experience with pro-gear and great stage presence. Will gladly work around your lead strengths/styles but need someone who can replicate the original recordings within the MTV Tribute niche'. Must have impeccable timing since playing with backing tracks are not for everyone and will be very unforgiving if you are out. Vocals a plus but not necessary. Key is for you to be able to emulate some of the absolute all-time best lead guitarists. This is a tall order for sure, but I am confident I will eventually find the right replacement for original ATL lead/co-founder. ONE HEADLIGHT: Depending on your skill/style, bands would include lead driven sounds of Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Prince, Bowie, U2, Tears for Fears, Dire Straits; New Wave (Duran Duran, INXS, Cure) and 80s/90s pop/rock (R.E.M., Billy Idol, Mellencamp, Petty, Foo Fighters, Oasis), and Punk/Alt Rock (Clash, Police, Green Day, Blink 182, 3 Doors Down, Killers, etc.). Anything HIGH ENERGY and danceable within that MTV genre...to be clear, I am NOT interested in 70s classic and southern rock. Love the music but that stuff is not what my band does.
