Birdie is a 6YO spayed Yorkiepoo who is very affectionate and loving and tolerates young children but thrives with preteens and above. She has a 100% allergy to all animal protien and eats special Rx food. Full disclosure, her vet bills run $200 to $500 per month due to her food allergy. This is not why I am rehoming her. She deserves more love and affection than I can give her. I am an autistic adult and am finding myself not having empathy for her any longer. She imprinted on me, not the rest of the family, so I am who she always comes to when she is in need and I am unable to muster the empathy for her to put her needs above my own.
