I have a male tegu that is 16 months old. Need to rehome him to someone who is WELL EXPERIENCED with Tegus. I will not let him go to just anyone. You need to have a sufficient habitat for him. He is not aggressive, however, he does not like to be held. You can touch him and pick him up but he is not cuddly at all. He may calm down as I am sure he is going thru puberty. He has never went thru brumation. He is right at 3feet long. He has outgrown his current habitat and I have not had the time to build him a bigger one. He would make an excellent breeder. He was obtained from Rose City Reptiles in Texas. He was not cheap but I will ask a reasonable rehoming fee. If your first response is asking what the fee is, I will likely not respond. I am more interested in your experience.
