This is NOT a scam. I am willing to provide my name and proof that these contacts are real and have been used by my projects, and discuss by phone. This time each year (booking season) I make my contacts available to help the right acts go pro (get paid to play, not pay to play), or build onto their show base. I got sick of sell tickets or playing shows "for exposure." It's hard work being a musician, and music gear plus travel is not cheap. So I spent the last couple years building a spreadsheet of contacts for shows that typically pay $750+ per show, are only 1-2 hours long, and already have a built-in audience/following. These shows are mostly municipal concert series, fairs, and festivals taking place throughout NJ. Many of these shows are in the summer, but about 25% of them are year-round. These contacts could be used year after year. The spreadsheet lists each show’s location, the name of the contact person, and their email address and phone number. You can then email them information about your band. If you’re a good fit for their show, they'll let you know possible dates, and then they will have you return to perform year after year if all goes well. These leads have worked wonders for several of my music projects, and I'm giving other musicians and bands a chance to benefit. The spreadsheet consists of direct contact people for 90 shows, and it’s up-to-date. For the hours upon hours I've spent over years building and maintaining this list, it is very reasonable to charge only a dollar per contact.
