100 year old can longer keep his 2 cats

2 females, spayed, about 13 years old, indoors only, use litter box and eat dry and canned food, very friendly/loving - been babied all their lives. We just had to move my father in law in with us, he's 100 and cannot keep his cats. One is yellow & white long hair, one is domestic short hair gray.
