Fashion Institute of Florida Presents: Free Pattern Making and Sewing workshopOn Sunday February 19th, 2023 from 11 AM - 1 PM During this 2 hour workshop, you will be introduced to all pattern making tools and vocabulary, fashion industry terms and definitions. Pattern making techniques, how to take body measurements & how to place the pattern on fabrics. Our sewing instructor will then give you an introduction to fashion construction terminology, machines type, how to thread a sewing machine, and different seams finishes. • This is a FREE workshop but a $10.00 fee is required to RSVP (credited for the an e- copy of the book : Pattern Making Made Simple. • You must be a least 14 years old to attend. • Tickets are not transferrable. ***This event will be photographed and recorded for social media purposes.
