About The Event The Springfield (OH) Chapter of The LINKS, Incorporated is offering its Premiere Program, “The L.I.N.K.S. Project,” to interested 5th and 6th graders in Springfield and Clark County. This educational program will introduce students to healthcare professions, and what it takes to prepare to enter one of these professions in the future. In Clark County, and nationwide, there is a shortage of young people entering healthcare professions and the sciences. As a result of this program, students will be exposed to the educational requirements, study habits, and courses required to enter these professions. Students will engage in video presentations, interactive lessons, with the opportunity for mentoring by professionals in their area of interest, and follow-up during their middle school and high school years.
