Professor Stemler will be joining us virtually, and participants may choose to attend in-person or virtually. Participation in all three sessions is not required – you may register for each one individually. The Concept of Intelligence – Wednesday, January 25 at 7:00PM The Concept of Creativity – Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00PM The Concept of Personality – Wednesday, March 29 at 7:00PM On Wednesday, January 25th, Professor Stemler will discuss the nature of intelligence. We will explore how intelligence is measured, along with the implications of this type of measurement and testing. According to Professor Stemler, the topic of intelligence has a controversial history with many dark aspects to it that can get overlooked by advocates, but also an important history of utility and bias reduction that can just as easily be dismissed or overlooked by its critics.
