Pruning is a fascinating way to engage with the trees around us. It encourages us to be precise in our movements and thoughtful in our decisions -- the cuts we make while pruning have long-term impacts on the health, safety, and aesthetics of the trees we work on. As the City of Syracuse strives to increase its total tree canopy by almost 1000 acres in 20 years, properly maintaining our current tree canopy is critical. Join us to learn how to take care of the trees you love and test your skills in Performance Park (and surrounding area) under the guidance of OEC Staff and Crew. Registration starts at 9:45AM.
