Speaking of men’s basketball, with their win over Texas A&M Kingsville, they remain undefeated at home this season. Sunday, Feb 12, is “Chocolate Sunday” in the CUB Ballroom from 6-8 p.m. This event features all-you-can-eat chocolates, a community art auction, and live jazz. Chocolate Sunday is a fundraiser for the ENMU Departments of Art and Culinary Arts; all proceeds fund student opportunities, including special workshops, artists-in-residence events, and more. Partake in the spectacular talents of some of Eastern's finest music students and faculty. As part of the 2023 New Mexico Music Educators Jazz All-State Conference, the ENMU Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Richard Schwartz, will perform in collaboration with featured student and faculty artists including the ENMU Swanee Singers, Dr. Miles Massicotte (piano), Dr. Bruce Keeling (trombone), Dr. Stephanie Beinlich (soprano), Dr. Gregory Gallagher (tenor), Dr. Sidney Shuler (trumpet), Dr. Pamela Shuler (clarinet), Dr. David Steffens (mallet percussion) and Dr. Emily Salgado (drum set).
