6 CEU's will be provided through the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor Board to provide Category 1 Continuing Education Programs for LSW, LCSW, LMFT and LMHC.
According to the Child Welfare Information Gateway, over 407,000 children are in foster care: 34% of youth placed go home to relatives or kin. As the request for foster families rises, now is the time to address fostering and guardianship concerns. Indiana has approximately 13,000 youth in foster care.
Foster care and guardianships provide a loving structure for children to feel welcomed and embraced as they face one of the hardest times in their lives. As we become more mindful of the benefits of fostering and guardianship, we use these lessons to place children in suitable families where they can experience a healthy, happy life.
At this conference you will receive practical instruction and learn new approaches to respond effectively to the foster care and guardianship needs of clients and families. We hope you attend this insightful event, featuring inspirational and knowledgeable speakers, providing their experience and wisdom.
