Pool routemen needed. Full time and part time routes available as well as weekends. Start at $22 plus for experienced routemen. Experience is preferred but not required, more than willing to train a good candidate. Starting pay for inexperienced personnel is $17.50 during training (2-3 weeks), increased to $19.00 when working independently, $20 after 6-month review, annual reviews after that. Performance raises possible.
Looking for good driving record, neat appearance, no drama. Capable of working unsupervised with a good attitude and customer service skills. Light plumbing and\or light electrical background helpful but not necessary.
The job is physical... must be able to bend, crouch, brush pools, clean filters, lift 40-50 lbs occasionally, and handle the florida sun on a daily basis.
Hours are good. Mon - Fri, 8-4. some holidays, one week vacation after a year, 2 weeks after two years, 3 weeks after five. Top of the pay scale is easily and quickly attainable to those willing to apply themselves.
The pool industry is thriving in Florida. A good poolman or repair tech will always have work. If you are one of those guys that can do a good job without someone looking over his shoulder every minute... this job might suit you. Great hours and good pay for honest work.
