Description

- Versed in replacing motors, starters, PLC components, conduits, electric cabinets, MCC, medium voltage, etc. - Electricians will assemble and wire custom electrical and control panels, circuit breakers, terminal strips, Variable Frequency Drives, field instrumentation, Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLCs ) and other components (conduit, supports, etc.). - Proficient on installing, repairing and Troubleshooting Field sensors, instrument, limit switches, solenoid valves. - Familiar with Analog instrumentation 4-20mA, +-10Vdc, 2wire, 3 wire sensors, Thermocouples and Pt100. - They will also assist in startup of systems including troubleshooting and optimization. - Must have extensive hands on experience with electrical power and control circuit, testing, and troubleshooting, and be able to read and understand schematics, mechanical and process drawings. Proficient on the use of electrical meters: Multi-meters (ohm, AC & DC Amp, AC & DC volts, Meggers). - A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic controls is essential. - Ability to perform tasks in high voltage switchyard electrical systems: - Proficient on Servicing/replacing AC and DC motors form 1/4hp up to 250hp. - Proficient on the use of electrical meters: Capacitance and inductance meters, Ground meters, Scope and Power meters. Basic Requirements: - At least 10 years of experience - Industrial electrician TX license. Schedule: 8 hour shift Overtime Weekend availability Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Electrical License (Required)
