Registration for the sixth annual Highlands Writers Conference is now open. Held every year at the Cartersville Georgia Highlands College campus, the conference offers writing workshops with writers from throughout the Southeast, personal writing critiques, and more. This year's event features keynote speaker LeAnne Howe as well as writers in genres from children's literature to screenwriting. In addition, for the first time, the conference will feature a movie screening of Howe's most recent film, Searching for Sequoyah.
The conference is free to any student with a valid ID and email and $25 for non-students. The movie screening is open to the general public at no cost. This year's event will be held on March 11th.
