Want to be a BOSS Lady?? Then let's take care of business first! Join the National Congress of Black Women-KC in partnership with A Cents of Change for your next 1st Friday! The 1st Friday Financial Resource Fair will allow you to Mix & Mingle while taking care of your financial business. The purpose of this event is to connect women to ways to make, save, and/or grow their wealth, but men may also attend. There will be appetizers, drinks, workshops, financial resource vendors and door prizes. Bring a friend so they can take care of business too! Partial proceeds will benefit the National Congress of Black Women-KC Chapter programs and services rendered to the public. Why this event is important? Women continue to make less money compared to men while continuing to become the head of household/primary breadwinner.
