Busy residential company looking to hire a journeyman or apprentice carpenter to the team. We are a family run general contracting company that does renovations, additions, bathrooms, kitchens, interior and exterior trim. We have 3 master carpenters on staff and are looking to hire a journeyman carpenter or apprentice to the team. Ideal candidate would have some experience in simple baseboard, insulation, sheetrock, etc. Experience not necessary as ideal candidate is one that is hungry to learn and can learn well by observation. Work includes assisting the carpenters doing whatever needs to be done and handling some small scale work independently. Small demolition work, heights, and pier preparation are part of the job. Driving and gathering of material also part of the scope of work. Pay is negotiable based on experience. $17-$22/hr. Hours are negotiable and both part time or full time hours are available. We start at 7a - promptness and dependability are a must. We value hard work and equally time off. We end our week at 1p on Fridays and offer paid holidays after 6 months and paid vacation after 1 year.
