Greetings ! We are assembling an ABBA Tribute Band. All of the musicians are in place and now we are looking for 2 female singers. This will be a professional tribute production with costumes, staging, media, lighting, stage moves, etc. - all highlighting the excellent vocals and popular dance music of ABBA. We will all dress as the ABBA member that we are portraying - so, ideally you will resemble either Agnetha (Blonde) or Anni-Frid (Brunette). Wigs can be worn to help with that. There will be travel involved (typically weekend shows within 1-2 hour drive times. Anything more than that will involve overnight stay. Transportation and housing will be provided. There are other ABBA Tribute Bands out there. However, we have aligned ourselves with a talent agency that will provide as many shows as we want - either as a headliner or as part of a concert or casino showcase. There is good money to be made. The music portion has been rehearsing for several weeks to get a foundation started to add the vocals (all other members sing and can play multiple instruments). We would like to have the full show ready to go by the end of March. This will allow time for marketing materials, photos, etc. to be ready to go. We will begin auditions during the first week in February. Although no one has a crystal ball to predict the future, the plan is to have this show in place for at least 1 year (possibly longer and there is the thought of also morphing this group into a Motown Tribute Band at some point - where we could market both shows) - so, we are hoping to find someone who can make that commitment with us.
