Looking for Indie Collab/Partner, or full band!

So here I am, writing an ad on Craigslist. I'm a 33 year old dad, with a decent job and a good amount of time on my hands to play and write a bit of music. My largest influences are typically 80's synth pop bands, early 2000's "indie" bands, and some classic rock stuff in between all that. Lets say Bruce Springsteen with The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys, a little bit of Wilco, Flock of Seagulls and Joy Division. Yeah, those things. The National, too, because obligatory dad rock...sort of. I've put out a few things here and there but I need someone else to help make it better, and bring in new ideas to work on as well! I'd like to keep this mostly online (using a shared drive) and meet up in person for finishing touches or just to hang out too if you're up for it. Consider this the WFH version of music - or maybe a hybrid model. I have a small studio-type space in my basement (it's perfect for one or two people making simple things, wouldn't be great for a full rehearsal space), a ton of equipment and a moderate understanding of the recording/producing process. We're not gonna be breaking new ground here, but we'll have fun, put some things out there, get others to listen, hopefully play a show or two every now and then and just have a good time doing this. I'm not a power-hungry dictator, I'm open to new ideas and bringing in different perspectives on songs, I like candy-pop creations just as much as long, drawn out sad soundscapes of nothingness. I don't sing well, unfortunately, so hopefully you do, but it isn't a dealbreaker if you just want to make instrumentals. I'm up for that too. Let's do this!!
