Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensures all leasing, renewal, and collections objectives are met or exceeded • Building and maintaining a community of engaged residents through effective resident relations programs, events, and activities • Responding to resident requests or complaints in a timely, appropriate manner • Ensures all information management and reporting occurs timely and accurately • Operating the property within established financial guidelines (The Budget) • Conducting or coordinating staff meetings, communication, and training as needed Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • 2+ years’ experience or equivalent in multi-family housing • Past managing/supervising 1+ employees experience is preferred • Excellent computer skills, able to effectively navigate industry software (YARDI) • General knowledge of local, state, and federal resident/property management laws/guidelines • Consistent successful application of fair housing and legal requirements when leasing and marketing property/units • Basic understanding of financial / budgeting principles (can read a budget), maintenance processes and responsibilities, sales/competitive markets • Analyze, resolve conflict, problem-solve, and make decisions in an effective, respectful, and goal-oriented manner • Self-direct and adapt to changes, managing competing priorities and projects At Monarch Investment our culture is built around a family-owned and operated, “in it together” mentality with a feeling of respect and appreciation for what you do for us, and our communities.
