We all have a favorite quote or old saying that speaks to us. Sometimes it’s a single phrase that serves as a source of inspiration, grounding and peace: your mantra. With a new year comes a fresh start and it helps to have a touchstone to keep things simple and focus your mind on new goals. In this fun and casual workshop you’ll use basic calligraphy, hand lettering and graphic design techniques to turn your favorite quote into a piece of ART — something you can hang where you’ll see it most often, encouraging you whenever you need a boost throughout the year. Who is this class for?: Recommended for anyone 18 and over Experience: No calligraphy or design skills needed! What should I bring? You’re welcome to bring pencils, markers or other drawing tools from home but we’ll supply everything you need — just come ready with your favorite quote!
