Description
We’ll gather to learn from and support each other as we explore the challenges of being a woman “of a certain age” while beginning to answer the deeply personal question “how do I want to live this next chapter of my life?”. The journey will inspire you to embrace the future with renewed passion and purpose… a future brimming with aging’s gifts of empowering wisdom, ongoing personal growth, deep peace, and lasting joy. What is a Wisdom Circle? Circles meet monthly for short and informal conversations often centered around questions or current issues of interest raised by members An opportunity to get to know, share perspectives, and perhaps make new friends with people on a similar journey Facilitated by Dana, your discussions will be grounded in the Sojourn’s Mindset principles and tailored to the needs of the members Who Can Join? Anyone is welcome to join a Wisdom Circle. There are no pre-requisites or membership criteria. When and How Often Do They Meet? For 1.5 hours, monthly, usually over a three month period What is the Cost? Our Special Introductory class January 17 is FREE. Each session is $25 or 3 for $60 Want a friend to join? Visit https://www.wisdomsojourn.com/ for more information These facilitated conversations often center around questions or current issues of interest raised by members. Topics may include: - Changing roles and relationships (wife, mother, friend, employee, etc.). - Cultural pressure to "look young" - ect. Dana will send some prep work before the first session and you will be given reading materials for the next session as well. We want to continue the thoughts and discussions beyond our 90 minute session. Facilitated by Dana Riddel From a career as senior executive, HR leader, executive coach and organizational change consultant, Dana’s aging experience led her to step back, call a time-out and ponder “what’s next?” Retirement turned into renewal as she learned to embrace growing older and merged her past and future by becoming a Certified Sage-ing Leader and founding Wisdom Sojourn. Her workshops, retreats, personal coaching and Wisdom Circles offer empowering reawakening experiences. Dana is deeply passionate about joining and supporting others across the globe in celebrating the gifts of aging and continually exploring the never-ending opportunities for ongoing growth, peace, and joy waiting to be discovered along our wisdom journeys into elderhood. She lives in Wisconsin, near where she grew up and in closer proximity to many family members and wonderful friends. Dana’s most special person is her very wise 30-something son who reminds her often that wisdom is ageless, dreaming need not end, and fresh possibilities abound!
