Description
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Borough and the Bucks County Opportunity Council, with support from the CB Cares Foundation, are organizing a food drive to benefit local families.
The benefit will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, at William Neis Park, adjacent to Doyle Elementary School.
Those wishing to donate should stay in their vehicle after arriving at the park, and a borough council volunteer will unload their donation. Volunteers are asking that one designated person bring the food to minimize contact.
Organizers are seeking the following items: canned vegetables, tuna, beans, canned salmon, canned pasta, oatmeal, rice, pasta, fruit juice, breakfast cereal, peanut butter, powdered milk, granola bars, jelly, canned chicken, soups, applesauce and canned fruit.
Monetary donations can be made online here.
